Nostrum is proud to introduce our HPFP Upgrade for the 3.0 Ecoboost “R” Code engine found in the Ranger Raptor! The main benefit of our HPFP is the 47% increase in flow over the stock pump, meaning you can dial in more boost earlier in the rev range and allow for a significant increase in torque. The additional fuel provided by Nostrum’s HPFP will allow you to hit peak power even sooner. Being that our pumps are ethanol compatible, you also have the added benefit of being able to run e85 or blended ethanol fuel. Ethanol is wonderful on turbo cars, as it has a higher-octane rating and is less prone to knock than 91 or 93 pump gas. Less knock, more boost, more power!
To take full advantage of your now upgraded HPFP, you would want to pair it with some bigger injectors! This bundle includes our Stage 1 3.0 Ecoboost injectors, which provide 11% more flow than the stock injectors! This is perfect for maxing out your stock turbos on 93, and allows you to run full pump E85, no blending required!
Nostrum backs every part we sell with a limited lifetime warranty. These products come complete with everything you need inside the box, including detailed installation instructions. Tuning guides are also available for your dealer or tuner. We have customer service and calibrators on staff to provide you with any support that you may need, from installation to tuning.
Why is spray pattern important?
While increasing flow rate is critical to making more horsepower, there are other factors to consider when choosing fuel system upgrades. A bigger injector isn’t always a better injector! It can flow a large volume of fuel at WOT, but if the spray pattern is poor, you can expect poor idle quality, poor drivability, increased knock propensity, soot, NVH (noise vibration harshness,) and tuning difficulty. Additionally, the wrong spray pattern can result in liquid fuel impinging in the cylinder walls, causing oil dilution, which increases mechanical wear to internal engine components.
Nostrum has invested significant time and resources into acquiring the equipment and machinery necessary to deliver an OEM level of quality on our injectors. Our spray patternation and arc flash machines (images below) give us an unparalleled look at how an OEM injector is designed and how it operates. Our engineers design and develop injectors to optimally interact with engine air flow inside the combustion chamber to improve fuel evaporation and create a homogenous air-fuel mixture that results in a higher combustion quality. For you, this means that you can expect our injectors to perform at their absolute best regardless of what you are asking from them, from daily driver duty to setting new ¼ mile records.

Frequently ask questions:
Q: Can’t I run pump E85 on the stock fuel system?
While you absolutely can run any mix of ethanol with the factory fuel system, going to full ethanol would result in a lower HP number than you would achieve on 93 pump gas. Since E85 requires 30% more fuel than 93 to achieve the same power, and you can easily max out the stock fuel system with stock turbos, there would not be much benefit to going to full ethanol.
Q: Can I do the installation myself at home?
Absolutely! All Nostrum products come with a detailed installation guide that shows you how to install your new parts every step of the way. Any additional pieces that might be necessary are included in the box. The only thing you need is your own tools and a can-do attitude. When you are ready to tune, we have calibration data and tuning guides available to your dealer, installer, or tuner.
Q: I need new injector seals! Do you guys have spares?
A: While we do carry some replacement seals, we have actually found it is more cost effective and usually quicker for customers to purchase part number: CM5314 from their local Ford dealer, as it will include all of the seals that you will need for your injectors! NOTE: Those kits only service 3 injectors, you will need to purchase 2 kits!
