58” long ethanol sensor signal and power intercept harness. One end of the harness has a three (3) pin GT 150 connector to connect to the OEM vehicle harness in place of the ethanol sensor. The other side has a four (4) pin DT04 Deutsch connector that connects to connector C4 on the ESSIM. This harness allows the ESSIM to get power and ground from the ECU connection that normally powers the ethanol sensor and also allows the ESSIM to transmit the ethanol content and temperature data from the module to the OEM ECU. This harness, the ESSIM and a sensor harness are all that is needed to allow you to see the ethanol information in real time on any vehicle already equipped with an ethanol sensor.
Note – GT 150 connector is compatible with most OEM ethanol sensors used on GM, Ford and some other vehicle manufacturers. Check your service information on non GM or Ford applications as some VW applications use an ethanol sensor with a different connector.
